This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to work on designing and developing large-scale data processing systems using Big Data technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python, PySpark, and other related tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable data processing systems using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Work with Amazon's Analytics services like Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, and AWS Glue to process large datasets.
  • Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or lakes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architectures that meet business requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Big Data technologies, including hands-on experience in Python, PySpark, and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, fact tables, and star schemas.
  • Experience working with columnar storage formats such as Parquet, Avro, and ORC.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, and IAM.
