Senior DevOps Engineer AWS Role

Overview of the Position:

The role involves implementing and managing cloud-based infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems on AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient solutions.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.
  • Provide expert-level guidance and support for technical teams in the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based services.
  • Contribute to the development of technology roadmaps and strategic plans for cloud adoption and migration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with expertise in AWS.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architecture, and security.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins and Ansible.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux administration and cloud-based monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts.
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
