Role Overview:

  • US Patent Drafting Expertise
  • Ambitious and detail-oriented patent drafter with experience in managing intellectual property initiatives for technology companies.

You will be responsible for driving innovation roadmaps and safeguarding IP through meticulous drafting and prosecution of patent applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Independently carry out US patent drafting assignments, ensuring alignment with clients' strategic objectives.
  2. Conduct inventor interviews, manage correspondence, and participate in attorney calls to facilitate effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
  3. Collaborate closely with the team, providing guidance, reviewing work, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations in terms of quality and timelines.
  4. Stay abreast of evolving laws and regulatory changes, imparting knowledge to the team and ensuring compliance in all patent-related activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or Computer Science

Experience: 3-5 years in patent drafting with a strong understanding of US patent laws and regulations

Skills:

  • Proficiency in US patent drafting across various technology domains
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to quickly understand and grasp complex technologies
  • Familiarity with patent processes and regulations
