Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of eLearning courses.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain consistent and committed to tasks assigned.

  • Verify that audio production meets quality standards by checking for clarity and consistency.
  • Confirm accurate reading of storyboards by voice talent to ensure correct interpretation.
  • Format text transcripts according to established standards to facilitate review.
  • Synchronize audio and transcript perfectly to provide a seamless learning experience.
  • Verify graphics adhere to approved standards and conform to designated storyboards.
  • Format on-screen text properly to enhance visual appeal.
  • Check spelling and grammar to maintain high-quality content.
  • Verify visuals fade in/out in sync with audio to create an engaging experience.
  • Ensure test keys contain answers to all knowledge checks and quizzes to promote student engagement.
  • Test activities function as described in the storyboard to ensure alignment with expected outcomes.
  • Confirm feedback functions properly to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Verify click-to-reveal items function properly and audio does not overlap to prevent learner distraction.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will:

  • Test courses in various browsers to ensure compatibility and accessibility.
  • Test player menu items to guarantee ease of use.
  • Confirm course uploads to the Learning Management System (LMS) without errors.
  • Confirm course can be assigned to a test user(s).
  • Confirm course shows up in the test user account as 'not started' or equivalent.
  • Start and close the course, confirming the LMS now displays the course as 'in progress' or equivalent.
  • Restart the course, confirming the course returns to the page last visited (bookmark).
  • Failing the course and verifying the LMS recorded this appropriately.
  • Passing the course and verifying the LMS shows the course as complete (or equivalent).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or comparable work experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in Quality Analysis.
