Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned PHP/Laravel developer to assume responsibility for the development and maintenance of high-quality web applications utilizing the Laravel framework.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and experience in PHP web development, as well as proficiency in the Laravel ecosystem. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, coupled with expertise in relational databases like MySQL and ORM frameworks like Eloquent, is also required.

In addition, familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience with version control systems, preferably Git, is necessary. The successful candidate will also have a strong grasp of RESTful APIs and web services, as well as an understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure code for web applications.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in web applications and provide timely resolutions.
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Laravel Developer, with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Demonstrable portfolio of web applications developed using PHP and Laravel framework.
  • Strong understanding of web application security best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Linux environment and server administration.
  • Relevant certifications in PHP and Laravel development.
