High-Performance Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

As a critical member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining highly available and scalable infrastructure systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration, foster innovation, and drive business growth through technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust architectures for trading platforms, order management systems, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop and maintain high-performance systems that meet demanding trading requirements.
  • Develop and implement monitoring solutions to detect anomalies, performance degradation, and system failures.
  • Implement disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.
  • Manage deployment pipelines and release processes for trading systems, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments with minimal disruption to trading operations.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance measures to protect trading systems and customer data from unauthorized access.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements imposed by regulatory bodies.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention in trading operations.
  • Monitor trading volumes and system usage to forecast capacity requirements and plan for scaling infrastructure to handle peak trading loads.
  • Maintain documentation of system architecture, processes, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ Years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
