**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality of our software systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Test new system software versions using automated testing tools and methodologies.
  • Create, maintain, and update test cases and regression scripts based on business requirements.
  • Manage and report software issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project teams to discuss issues and provide status updates.
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards and policies.
  • Provide estimates to support QA management in producing accurate schedules.
  • Support Product Management in testing various business scenarios and verifying functionality.
  • Maintain application versions and facilitate version upgrades across environments.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in science and/or engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in general Quality Assurance with complex trading and risk management systems in the financial industry.
  • Proficiency in OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and related technologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, C++) is a plus.
