  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization's infrastructure operations, ensuring seamless delivery of IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an infrastructure strategy that aligns with business objectives, encompassing on-premise data center management and cloud deployments.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Negotiate procurement of software, hardware, and other IT supplies in line with management approval.
  • Manage inventory of software licenses, hardware, and other IT supplies.
  • Collaborate with senior management and peers to gain acceptance for innovative approaches.
  • Oversee outsourced teams for daily operations and activities.
  • Provide solutions to complex business problems, leveraging in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Ensure successful execution of live disaster recovery activities and periodic DR drills.
  • Demonstrate expertise in server, storage, database, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and network architecture.
  • Lead production incident management and ensure regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure management, spanning both on-premise data centers and cloud infrastructures.

Required Skills:

  • Proven program and project management skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute infrastructure-related projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure components, including servers, storage, databases, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and networks.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies.

Functional Competencies:

  • Capacity to perform comprehensive infrastructure discovery assessments and transformation strategies.
  • Holistic understanding of all data center functions, including production operations, change control, DR/business recovery, helpdesk, systems management, and facilities.
  • Experience with private and public cloud architectures, migration considerations, and pros/cons analysis.
