Highway Infrastructure Design Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Highway Infrastructure Design Specialist to join our team in Mumbai office. This role will involve working on highway design projects, primarily in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop highway infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and intersections.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or OpenRoad.
  • Perform geometric design, pavement design, and drainage design as per industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international transportation regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Analyze traffic patterns and road safety data to optimize designs and improve efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, project budgets, and reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve engineering challenges and technical issues on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in highway design, planning.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Roads, or OpenRoads software.
  • Strong knowledge of highway design standards (AASHTO, IRC, or other relevant codes).
  • Experience with pavement design, drainage systems, and traffic engineering is a plus.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Master's degree in Transportation Engineering (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with GIS, or traffic simulation software.
