Job Overview

The Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for designing, deploying and optimizing security operation automation platforms to enhance the overall cybersecurity operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable playbooks and workflows to automate triage, enrichment and response actions.
  • Integrate security operation automation with security information and event management (SIEM) systems such as Splunk or QRadar, endpoint detection and response (EDR), threat intelligence and ticketing systems.
  • Develop custom automation scripts using Python, PowerShell or JavaScript to support integrations.
  • Collaborate with security operations center (SOC) and incident response (IR) teams to define use cases, automate repetitive tasks and reduce mean time to respond (MTTR).
  • Maintain detailed documentation for playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and integration guides.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory frameworks.
  • Train SOC analysts and engineers on security operation automation capabilities and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 3 years of experience in security operation automation engineering or architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with security operation automation platforms like Cortex XSOAR, Splunk Phantom or IBM SOAR.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence and IT service management (ITSM) tools.
