Job Description:

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of engineers responsible for designing and developing platform software. Your primary goal will be to foster innovation and drive best practices within your functional area.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading technical teams, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.

Key responsibilities will include building sustainable processes for product development, partnering with the greater R&D organization, and driving continuous process improvement activities.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build consensus and establish common goals. The ability to distill software requirements from system requirements and provide post-product support is crucial for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree required with minimum 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in managing cross-functional engineering technical teams of 20 or more members
  • Technical management experience in leading platform and real-time operating system software development teams
  • Strong focus on team career development, mentorship, and coaching
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting using modern C++ 11 or greater
  • Experience in object-oriented design and design patterns
