Job Title: System Reliability Expert

Job Description:

We seek a skilled professional to oversee system performance and ensure operational efficiency. As the point person for system reliability, you will be responsible for implementing scalable architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, and developing monitoring tools to guarantee system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain system architectures that prioritize scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and observability tools to ensure system performance and availability.
  • Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Azure CLI.
  • Ensure continuous integration and delivery pipelines are in place using GitHub and GitHub Actions.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in languages like Python.
  • Deep understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems and networking concepts.
  • Experience with Azure including services, architecture, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.
  • Familiarity with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure CLI.
  • Experience with tools like Splunk, New Relic or Azure Monitoring.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex distributed systems independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Certifications related to cloud engineering or DevOps.
  • Experience with microservices architecture including supporting AI/ML solutions.
  • Experience with large-scale system management and configuration.

Working Hours: Full-time job with flexible working hours.
Duration: 6 months.
