Radio Broadcast Host

Job Summary

Mirchi is seeking a talented and energetic Radio Broadcast Host to join our team. As an On Air Personality, you will be responsible for hosting live and recorded shows, creating engaging content, and interacting with listeners.

Responsibilities:

• Show Hosting: Create and present live and recorded shows that align with Mirchi's brand proposition and editorial guidelines.
• Content Creation: Develop and implement ideas for special events, promotions, and daily programming.
• Social Media Management: Shoot, edit, and post videos on various social media platforms to increase followers and engagement.
• Voice Overs: Provide voice overs for commercials, show promos, and station elements.
• Research and Interviews: Conduct research, interviews, and sound bites for shows and other content.
• Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze competing radio channels for music trends, content, and show formats.
• Event Management: Organize and execute special events and OBs (Outdoor Broadcasts).
• Communication: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, including the Cluster Programming Head, Programming Head, Producers, First Impression Manager, Promo Producers, and other Jocks.
• Languages: Fluency in Malayalam is required.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduation with any specialization.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in audio editing software, social media management tools, and other relevant technologies.
• Personal Attributes: Strong communication skills, great voice and diction, digitally savvy, and excellent screen presence.
