Patent Drafter and Prosecutor

We are seeking an experienced leader to drive our patent drafting and prosecution team forward.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Computer Science or IT and at least 5 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution with a law firm or IP services company.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Draft high-quality patent applications for US, EP, and India jurisdictions.
• Prepare and review responses to office actions from the USPTO, EPO, and Indian Patent Office.
• Manage and guide a team of professionals on drafting and prosecution assignments.
• Collaborate with inventors, in-house counsel, and R&D teams to capture technical inventions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering (preferred).
• Law degree (desirable).
• Patent agent qualification (must).
• Strong understanding of patent laws and prosecution practices across US, EP, and India.
• Excellent technical and legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage, mentor, and review work of junior team members.
