- This role involves working closely with Concept Engineering, Applications, Marketing, and Project Managers to define feature sets, chip architectures, resourcing, scheduling, and costing.
- You will perform all aspects of IC Analog/Mixed signal design from definition to production, including precision, low-power Analog & I/O blocks, A/D & D/A converters, PLLs, higher voltage integrated drivers, switching FETs, and sense and protection circuitry.
- Key responsibilities include schematic capture, circuit analysis and simulation, silicon bench evaluation, guiding technicians for full characterization, and overseeing block-level behavioural modelling for chip top-level verification.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and a minimum of 12 years of IC design experience.
- A strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal design, with experience as a Design team leader.
- Exceptional interpersonal, time management, and communication skills, with proficiency in the complete suite of Cadence tools for mixed-signal design.
- Design experience with Power Management ICs and LDMOS/BCD process technologies, and PDKs.
