Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Overview

Our organization seeks an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cloud infrastructure strategies to meet business objectives
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC
  • Implement security measures and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), VPC security, and data protection
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment workflows and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance
  • Stay updated on industry trends and AWS features to continually innovate and improve our cloud practices
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field, with a focus on AWS technologies
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and features, including EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnetting, NAT, VPN)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and practices
  • AWS certification is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
