Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned developer to join our team as a Center of Excellence Developer QA.

This exciting opportunity involves working closely with our global CORE team to test customer solutions, identifying and developing test scripts to address new features and application issues, and collaborating with CoE team members to adopt new resolutions and address technical problems escalated as bugs.

You will also assist CoE Developers with solution-specific difficulties during new site commissioning, system upgrades, and expansions. Additionally, you will participate in power monitoring system testing, development environment for release, and pilot activities, contributing valuable insights, executing test scenarios, and typical use-cases, and participating in product development and testing.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the global CORE team to test customer solutions
  • Develop and recommend test scripts to address new features and application issues
  • Assist CoE team members in adopting new resolutions and addressing technical problems escalated as bugs
  • Support CoE Developers with solution-specific difficulties during new site commissioning, system upgrades, and expansions
  • Participate in power monitoring system testing, development environment for release, and pilot activities
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Essential:
  • Strong SQL database querying and programming experience
  • Experience in software, database, and/or troubleshooting, diagnosis, and problem-solving
  • Positive attitude, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and customer-focused
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Quick learner with an inquiring mind
  • Strong technical writing and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work with people from diverse technical backgrounds

Bonus Points:

  • Programming experience (5+ years)
  • C# or HTML5 coding experience (Web Application)
  • Entity Framework, Angular JS, or similar expertise
  • Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience
  • Familiarity with SCADA and HMI standards
