Endpoint Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dynamic security team, you will play a critical role in advanced threat detection, incident response, and endpoint security.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in EDR operations, advanced threat detection, and incident response. You will be responsible for leading and managing these efforts, investigating and analyzing sophisticated security alerts, and providing technical guidance to junior analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Threat Detection: Lead and manage advanced threat detection efforts using Carbon Black EDR across endpoints.
- Incident Response: Investigate and analyze sophisticated security alerts and events to determine root cause, scope, and impact of security incidents.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior analysts (L1, L2s), assisting with incident investigations, analysis, and resolution.
- Security Strategies: Develop and implement advanced detection and response strategies using Carbon Black EDR to enhance our overall security posture.
- Coordination: Lead incident response efforts, including coordination with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of endpoint data and logs to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and advanced attack techniques.
- Threat Intelligence: Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to stay updated on emerging threats and tactics used by threat actors.
- Security Playbooks: Develop and maintain security playbooks, procedures, and response plans for incident response and threat hunting.
- Tuning and Optimization: Assist in the tuning and optimization of Carbon Black EDR policies, SIEM rules, and custom queries to improve detection efficacy.
- Staying Current: Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in endpoint security and threat detection.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on security incident trends, analysis findings, and mitigation efforts to stakeholders.
