Job Description

As the lead of the General Ledger and Financial Accounting operations, you will oversee the entire financial accounting process of the organization. This involves managing periodic financial reports, maintaining a comprehensive system of accounting records, and designing controls to mitigate risk and ensure accuracy in reported financial results.

This role includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including month-end processes, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, payroll, and utilities. The incumbent must also ensure timely reporting of monthly financial information and collaborate with finance managers to support overall department goals.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing department work to develop efficient procedures, advising staff on non-routine reporting transactions, responding to inquiries from finance managers, and working with the controller to ensure a clean year-end audit.
