Claims Analyst Position

We are seeking an experienced Claims Specialist to handle demurrage and post-fixture claims with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage claims by coordinating with client teams, vessels, and agents to gather necessary information.
  • Evaluate claims based on accurate contract interpretations and provide analytical insights.
  • Track time-bars and voyage completions to ensure timely submissions and negotiate with counterparties for the best outcome.
  • Collect port documents, review, and procure missing documents required for claim filing and store them as per requirement.
  • Keep records and data accurately and in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably with sailing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in handling claims, mainly for product tankers.
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills with problem-solving abilities and a focus on process improvement.
