Job Title: Tax Manager

RSM seeks a seasoned professional to lead our tax practice, providing expert guidance on complex financial matters. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to clients in the specialty finance industry.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-depth analysis and review of complex federal partnership agreements
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring seamless client-service team collaboration
  • Develop and train junior staff members, fostering a culture of excellence
  • Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in business taxation, preferably with a Big 4 firm or large national/regional/local accounting firm
  • Prior tax compliance and consulting experience serving asset management clients
  • Active CPA, EA, CA certification

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters of Accounting, Masters of Taxation, or MBA
  • Proven track record managing client engagements from start to end
