Job Title: Global Supply Chain Strategist

Location: Bangalore

Estimated Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹2,400,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Global Supply Chain Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global supply chain strategies to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead a team of supply chain professionals in executing best practices and measuring performance using agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Direct and coordinate global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet changing levels of product demand.
  • Work closely with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to determine the most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
  • Monitor and correct inventory levels at outside warehouses (3PL) and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
  • Support proper utilization of SAP system.
  • Understand company operations needs and requirements.
  • Plan and manage company overall sourcing strategy.
  • Build relationships with vendors and key suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing and control costs.
  • Develop a yearly budget depending on sourcing needs.
  • Execute analyses and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy.
  • Write sourcing documentation and statements.
  • Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices.
  • Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience.
  • 12 to 20 years of supply chain and sourcing experience.
