Android Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer to join our team at Invidi Technologies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Android application development and a solid understanding of Android architecture and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Android applications.
- Ensure the applications are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
- Utilize a strong understanding of Android architecture components (e.g., MVVM, LiveData, ViewModel) and frameworks to build effective, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Implement UI designs according to Android's design guidelines and best practices.
- Create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Integrate with web services (REST, JSON, XML) and cloud technologies (AWS).
- Utilize Android Studio IDE and Android Debugger for debugging and troubleshooting.
- Handle data parsing using JSON, and work with SQL Lite for local data storage.
- Use tools like Jira and Bitbucket for source control, defect tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain OTT (Over-The-Top) applications, integrating digital video broadcast stacks, and streaming technologies.
- Work with content streaming players like Media3 Exo-Player, and implement HTTP Adaptive Streaming and ad insertion technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Android SDK, Core Java, and Kotlin, as well as expertise in Android Studio IDE and Android Debugger. A deep understanding of Android architecture components, UI design guidelines, and best practices is also essential. Familiarity with JSON parsing, scripting knowledge, and SQL Lite is a plus. Experience with OTT app development and digital video broadcast stacks is also highly valued. Knowledge of content streaming technologies, including Media3 Exo-Player, video formats, HTTP Adaptive Streaming, and ad insertion, is also required. Proficiency in web service integration (REST, JSON, XML) and cloud technologies, particularly AWS, is necessary. Working knowledge of Jira, Bitbucket, and other tools for source control and defect tracking is also required. Experience with Linux platform is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are also required.
