Key CAD Design Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled CAD design professional to contribute to our design initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality designs that meet the required specifications.

Design Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software, specifically Creo.
  • Design parts and assemblies with attention to detail and a focus on manufacturing requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design for manufacture requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of good design practices, DFMEA, and GD&T standards.
  • Identify and prioritize design projects with stakeholders.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot design issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the development of design guidelines and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in CAD design, with a strong background in Creo.
  • Proven expertise in part design, GD&T, and SPI standards for plastic design.
  • Experience working with plastic tool makers and injection molders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
