Project Scheduler Job

As a seasoned project scheduler, you will support the Project Controls Manager (PCM), Project Manager (PM) or Project Director (PD) in bid and proposal activities, schedule preparation and other tasks. Your key responsibilities will include creating and updating schedules in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project based on project requirements.

The role requires close collaboration with project teams, construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers to gather progress data. You will submit weekly/monthly reports highlighting variances to the current baseline schedule and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) from original estimates and includes resource budgets as required.

In this challenging role, you will identify, notify, resolve and record deviations from the current plan in a timely manner and review impacts on schedule delivery milestones producing recovery plans to minimize delays.

You will need to ensure data integrity and accuracy of schedule reporting through auditing and analysis.

  • A minimum of five years of experience in scheduling for the construction industry is mandatory.
  • University degree or diploma in Engineering or Business Administration, or equivalent education and experience is preferred.
  • Expertise in using Primavera P6 is essential.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power BI and Microsoft Project is also required.
  • Ability to multitask, work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively is crucial.
