We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced engineering leader to join our Bangalore engineering team as a Director, Software Engineering, Systems Infrastructure. This role will be based in Bangalore, India, and will involve leading our global charter around Data In Motion, as part of the LinkedIn Data Infrastructure team.
About the Role
- Drive the infrastructure product and technology roadmap to help accelerate LinkedIn's member growth, engagement, and monetization efforts.
- Own the integrity of solutions, ensuring best practices are followed, not just in technical design and implementation but also in quality of the code.
- Jointly develop and own key business, scalability and availability metrics and actively set and achieve goals.
Responsibilities

- Maximizing productivity
Basic Qualifications
- BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics or related engineering experience.
- 13+ years of experience as a people manager in a software development organization.
- Hands-on experience leading 50+ member teams in a product development organization.
Preferred Qualification
- 15+ years experience in planning, designing, developing and delivering software.
- Highly motivated and enthusiasm for solving interesting problems.
- Communicate and drive cross-functional efforts.
