Bridge Modeler Position

We are looking for a skilled engineer to develop detailed bridge drawings and models using MicroStation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed drawings and models for bridge structures using MicroStation
  • Collaborate with structural engineers to create accurate construction drawings from design sketches and calculations
  • Develop plans, elevations, sections, and reinforcement details for bridge superstructures and substructures
  • Ensure integration of design elements from multiple disciplines, including road, drainage, and geotechnical
  • Review and incorporate design markups and redlines
  • Maintain CAD standards and follow project-specific workflows and file management practices
  • Support clash detection and 3D modeling as needed
  • Verify that all deliverables meet client and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in bridge drafting and detailing using MicroStation
  • A solid understanding of bridge structural components, materials, and construction techniques
  • Familiarity with various types of bridges, such as concrete, steel, precast, and cable-stayed
  • The ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and codes
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drafting
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
