Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Evernorth. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality web applications using cutting-edge technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet or exceed business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Candidates will need to have experience with medium-to-large-scale web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, and PostgreSQL.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to develop within the full technology stack, prioritize tasks, solve problems, implement features, test, and deliver high-visibility bugs and features to web applications.
  • Rearchitecting and decoupling our web applications for bundling to new types of infrastructure environments is also essential.
  • As part of our fast-paced team, you will work with the latest tools and open-source technologies to design and develop next-generation RESTful APIs and Event-driven services in a VMWare environment.
  • You will also work on a development team using agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related coursework.
  • 8-11 years of experience in application engineering/software development, preferably in the healthcare domain.
  • Strong experience with front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong experience with backend technologies, including NodeJS, ExpressJS, npm, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working in database environments like SQLite, Postgres, SQLServer, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • Experience with Git-based source control tools, such as GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, along with tools like GitHub Projects, Jira, Rally, etc.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript event loop, concurrency, and async/await concepts.
  • Solid understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Web Standards.
  • Experience with developing RESTful web services.
  • Experience with Linux, Scripting, and Bash.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
