We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing Quality Assurance team. As an SDET, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining both UI and backend automation tests to ensure the highest quality standards across the application.

You will use tools such as Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman, TestNG, and Cucumber to automate tests and ensure product reliability.

• Design, implement and maintain automated tests for both UI and backend using Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman, and Cucumber frameworks.
• Develop, enhance and refactor automation frameworks to ensure scalability, maintainability and reusability.
• Write and maintain test cases that cover functional, regression, integration and performance testing.

1. API testing:
   1. Write automated API tests using RestAssured and Postman for validating RESTful APIs.
   2. Create data-driven tests and automate API validation against different environments.
   3. Ensure robust API coverage, including edge cases and negative test scenarios.
2. Agile and Continuous Integration (CI/CD):
   1. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
   2. Ensure tests are executed as part of the build and deployment processes, reporting the results promptly.
3. Problem Solving and troubleshooting:
   1. Exceptional technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly analyze complex issues and resolve them independently.
   2. Ability to debug, isolate and fix issues in both test code and application code.
4. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
   1. Partner with product management, development and operations teams to ensure alignment on quality goals and deliverables.

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of mobile test automation tools like Appium.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and services like AWS and Azure.

This role requires 5-8 years of experience in software development and testing.
