Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Manager to lead our logistics operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the dispatch and delivery of architectural glass products to various locations across India and internationally.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise the packing and loading of products onto vehicles as per delivery schedules.
2. Optimize route maps and consolidate orders for efficient delivery times, minimizing delays and costs.
3. Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, ensuring timely updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
4. Maintain accurate records of delivery receipts and confirmation documents via management information systems (MIS).
5. Develop and maintain relationships with logistics vendors, negotiating prices and services to ensure cost-effectiveness.
6. Ensure the safety of personnel and materials during transportation and at delivery locations.
7. Meet consistent targets on dispatch performance, exceeding expectations where possible.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in any field; preference given to logistics, supply chain, or business administration graduates.
2. Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in other languages such as Telugu, Tamil, or Kannada is an asset.
3. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and WhatsApp for effective communication and data analysis.
4. Proven experience in managing teams of 5-10 people, with a track record of achieving goals and targets.
5. Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
6. Possession of a smartphone and a two-wheeler for convenient conveyance.
