Sustainability Specialist

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Specialist to assist in collecting data from clients and ensuring accuracy as per defined requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will perform data gathering, validation, verification, and calculations related to Carbon Footprint emissions (Scope 1, 2 & 3), and conduct data collection, validation, verification, and calculations for Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).
  • This role will also involve supporting the preparation of draft reports for Carbon Footprint, Life Cycle Assessment, and ESG in line with established guidelines and frameworks.
  • In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will contribute to organizational administrative tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of ESG concepts and associated frameworks is essential for this role.
  • The candidate will build a database of prospective clients and manage outreach activities including cold calling and warm calling to generate leads.
  • Identifying high-potential leads and initiating engagement with prospective customers is crucial for success in this position.
  • Maintaining and updating the sales pipeline regularly is also an important responsibility.
  • The ideal candidate will research industries and organizations in target markets to identify opportunities and drive sales initiatives.
  • Conducting account mapping, understanding buyer personas, identifying key decision-makers, and scheduling meetings for the sales team is also a key responsibility.
  • Validating and qualifying accounts before adding them to the pipeline is essential for this role.
  • Applying independent research skills to source relevant information is a must-have skill for this position.
  • Gaining familiarity with and effectively using the company's CRM tools is also important.
  • Providing additional administrative support to the organization as needed is an added responsibility.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Environmental Engineering, M.Sc. in Environmental Science, B.E. (any discipline), or a related academic background is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in assessing and/or applying ESG standards and performance best practices is essential for this role.
