About the Role

As a seasoned PHP Lead, you will oversee the development and maintenance of our company's web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PHP Development: You have a strong understanding of core PHP and object-oriented programming principles, ensuring efficient and scalable code.
  • CodeIgniter (CI 1 & 4): With experience working with both legacy (CI 1) and modern (CI 4) versions of the CodeIgniter framework, you can adapt to our existing infrastructure.
  • PYTHON: Your proficiency in Python enables seamless integration with our backend services.
  • MySQL: Your hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and managing MySQL databases ensures data integrity and performance.
  • JavaScript (ES6+): You possess solid knowledge of JavaScript for both client-side functionality and integration with backend services, allowing for smooth user experiences.
  • Code Review: As an experienced peer reviewer, you ensure code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Unit Testing: Familiarity with writing and maintaining unit tests guarantees code reliability and regression prevention.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git facilitates collaborative development, branching, and version control.
  • API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs for consuming and creating endpoints enhances our application's capabilities.
  • Performance Optimization: Understanding of performance tuning on both frontend and backend ensures optimal system performance.
  • Collaboration: You work closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
