Job Title: C Network Protocol Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled C programmer to join our team as a C Network Protocol Developer. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network protocols and the ability to design, implement, and debug complex protocol stacks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Layer 2 (L2) and Layer 3 (L3) network protocols, including but not limited to Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, and others.
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code in C.
  • Integrate protocol stacks with existing systems and ensure compatibility across various hardware and software platforms.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for protocol validation.
  • Analyze and optimize protocol performance to ensure high throughput, low latency, and efficient resource usage.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [4+] years of professional experience in L2/L3 protocol development.
  • Proficiency in C programming language.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols at Layer 2 and Layer 3.
