Job Title:

Senior Research Manager

Job Overview:

The role entails leading a team of researchers and scientists, overseeing the direction and supervision of research activities across multiple projects focused on developing innovative chemicals for crop protection and growth.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing research projects to drive innovation and efficiency;
  • Directing laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, protocols, and compliance;
  • Providing technical guidance and support to teams, ensuring successful project outcomes;
  • Mentoring junior staff to develop their skills and expertise;
  • Reviewing and approving research results, ensuring alignment with organizational goals;
  • Participating in knowledge management initiatives to promote best practices and innovation;

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Organic Chemistry or Agrochemistry from a reputable institution with excellent academic credentials;
  • Post-doctoral research experience abroad, preferably in the US, West Europe, or Japan;
  • At least 12-16 years of industrial research experience, including 3-5 years of team management experience;

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced research environment;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and inspire teams;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and computer programs used for analysis;
