Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing processes in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in chemical engineering with a focus on process development, scale-up, and technology transfer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing processes for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and biologics;
  • Developing and implementing process control strategies to ensure product quality and efficiency;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies;
  • Conducting process hazard analysis and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering or related field;
  • At least 10 years of experience in process development and engineering in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting;
  • Expertise in process modeling and simulation using software such as HYSYS, ASPEN, or Simulis;
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements;
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
