Chief Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our test automation efforts, focusing on UI, APIs, and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive UI test flows using Playwright
- Explore AI-powered tools to enhance QA processes
- Automate backend/API tests with Postman or equivalent
- Design and implement smoke tests, regression suites, and kill switches
- Integrate automated testing into GitHub pipelines for continuous validation
- Analyze failing builds, isolate bugs, and document findings promptly
- Maintain collaboration with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Proven expertise in programming languages like JavaScript/TypeScript
- Familiarity with modern UI automation tools and methodologies
- Detailed understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) is beneficial
- Exposure to testing AI/ML-based systems is an asset
