Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Specialist to join our team. As a Data Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely statistical deliverables, building and presenting statistically sound models, and consulting with internal clients on complex statistical ideas.

About the Role:

  • You will handle all aspects of data modeling processing, including accuracy and timely delivery of statistical deliverables.
  • You will conduct small to medium-scale projects and research through all stages: concept formulation, definition of metrics, determination of appropriate statistical methodology, research evaluation, and final research report.
  • You will independently build and present internally statistically sound models using current, standard programs.
  • You will apply industry techniques/ideas/trends to current systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver accurate and timely statistical deliverables.
  2. Build and present statistically sound models.
  3. Consult with internal clients on complex statistical ideas.
  4. Conduct small to medium-scale projects and research.
  5. Apply industry techniques/ideas/trends to current systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics/economics or related field.
  • 0-2 years prior experience with data analysis or modeling with large transactional databases.
  • Good to have experience/exposure in statistical/data analytics field.
  • Good to have experience/exposure conducting original research.
  • Experience/project in python/SAS environment is desired.
