Visual Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Visual Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging visual content that supports our mission of promoting sustainable urban mobility and community engagement.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Visual Content:
    • Create high-quality visual assets, including infographics, presentations, and social media graphics that communicate complex ideas clearly.
    • Develop visual concepts and designs for print and digital media, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines.
  • Campaign & Event Support:
    • Design materials for large-scale public campaigns and events, including posters, banners, and event signage.
    • Collaborate with the team to create engaging visuals for public awareness campaigns aimed at diverse audiences.
  • Content Creation:
    • Transform research data and reports into visually engaging and easy-to-understand infographics and charts.
    • Support the creation of visual narratives for success stories, case studies, and public-facing reports.
  • Digital Presence:
    • Create dynamic content for social media platforms (static images, short animations, GIFs) to drive engagement and amplify key messages.
    • Assist in maintaining and updating our website with new visual content.
  • Photography & Videography:
    • Help capture and edit photos and videos from events and projects to build a rich visual library.
    • Work with external photographers and videographers as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a graphic designer, preferably with a focus on social impact or urban development.
  • Proven experience in creating successful visual campaigns for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in motion graphics or video editing.
  • Familiarity with urban mobility, road safety, or public health campaigns.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a range of creative and impactful design work.
