Job Overview

GCC drives efficiency by removing duplication, increasing consistency, and centralizing critical capabilities to speed up decision making. This frees up resources for R&D operations and team growth.

R&D GCC Evolution

GCC has evolved from a design function to lead the Global R&D Transformation of capabilities beyond specifications established in GCC. This includes tech knowledge management, market analysis, project management, simulation/modelling, and statistics COE.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead transition management through flawless execution of design & transition playbooks, aligning project deliverables with capability leads and stakeholders.
  2. Assess R&D opportunities for GCC support, reviewing existing non-spec R&D capabilities and identifying white spaces.
  3. Partner with R&D to review external service spend, sector, category, and function for detailed understanding.
  4. Build links with S&T PEX organization, understanding current projects, prioritization, and assuming project leadership for value unlocks and productivity savings.
  5. Leverage existing designs to challenge complexity, drive process simplification, and continuous improvement.
  6. Define new digital capabilities to automate existing processes, quantifying and tracking delivered value and efficiency.
  7. Lead change management and communication activities, working with Change Management COE for clear communication.
