Job Title: Senior Insights Associate

Job Description:
As a Senior Insights Associate, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive patent analyses, preparing patent landscape reports, and understanding the scope of patent protection. This role involves analyzing patent documents utilizing knowledge of chemistry, biotechnology, and chemical nomenclature, coupled with knowledge of international pharmaceutical patent law.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct patent analyses and prepare patent landscape reports to understand the scope of patent protection.
2. Analyze patent documents utilizing knowledge of chemistry, biotechnology, and chemical nomenclature, along with knowledge of international pharmaceutical patent law.
3. Monitor and analyze patent legal status, patent expiry, withdrawals, lapses, and rejections.
4. Monitor and analyze other sources of intellectual property and regulatory monopoly, including patent extensions, marketing, and data exclusivity, as well as patent legal status, patent expiry, reassignments, withdrawals, lapses, and rejections.
5. Perform ongoing monitoring of patent publications in accordance with standards, company priorities, and the production cycle.
6. Create Excel VBA, Access, and SQL-based automation tools to increase overall process efficiency.
7. Efficiently manage multiple tasks on an ongoing basis, which may include web crawling, process improvements, quality checks, advanced data analytics, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of patent law, chemistry, biotechnology, and chemical nomenclature.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Access, and SQL.
- Experience with automation tools and programming languages (e.g., VBA).
