Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

About the Role:

  • Data Management and Storage: Design scalable, high-performance data storage solutions using Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Data Integration and ETL: Develop efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Azure Data Factory. Ensure data cleaning, transformation, and loading into Data Lakes are optimized for performance.
  • Big Data and Analytics: Leverage big data technologies like Azure Databricks and Apache Spark for data processing and analytics. Create data processing workflows and pipelines to support business intelligence applications.
  • Data Pipeline Architecture: Design and construct data pipelines that combine large, complex datasets meeting business requirements.
  • Optimization and Monitoring: Implement metrics and monitoring processes ensuring data quality and system performance. Identify and implement process improvements, such as automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work with stakeholders addressing data-related technical issues and supporting data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with data experts to enhance data system functionality.
  • ML Use Cases: Collaborate with data scientists to create datasets for various use cases. Implement data annotations and curation techniques to enhance data readiness for machine learning applications.
