Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our performance test team in developing and maintaining cutting-edge endpoint security solutions. This role requires expertise in performance testing, automation, and data analysis, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive performance test strategies to ensure the optimal functioning of our sensor technology.
  • Design and maintain complex test environments that replicate customer deployments to validate sensor performance under real-world workloads.
  • Drive the development of automation frameworks, workload generators, and telemetry capture and analysis pipelines to streamline performance testing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize performance-related issues and develop effective solutions.

Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of Python for automation and data analysis across multiple operating systems.
  • General knowledge and understanding of C/C++.
  • Strong understanding of performance characteristics, including CPU utilization, memory management, execution cost, and concurrency/threading impacts.
  • Hands-on experience setting up and managing enterprise-scale environments (such as Windows AD, SQL cluster, and distributed clusters).
  • Ability to design reproducible testbeds that mirror customer topologies for accurate performance validation.
  • Proven experience with performance engineering methodologies: profiling, benchmarking, scalability analysis, stress, and longevity testing.
  • Experience building and leading teams that deliver system-level performance testing frameworks.
  • Ability to analyze large-scale telemetry to identify bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.
  • Advanced knowledge of product quality strategies, including manual testing, automation, white or black box testing at massive scale.
  • Experience working with and leading teams to define and execute on major projects.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, partner, and work effectively in a distributed team.
