Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for designing and detailing products that meet customer specifications and ensure safe and reliable designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate designs that meet customer requirements and ensure easy manufacturability, operability, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and detail products, ensuring safety and functionality in accordance with customer needs and current legislation.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities with manufacturing and suppliers on product technical issues.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of design for manual assembly and batch manufacturing, including error proofing.
  • Good knowledge of major manufacturing processes, including welding, machining, forming, molding/casting, and sealing mechanisms.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
