**Treasury Specialist Role Overview:**

  • The Treasury Specialist role involves managing the company's cash, risk, and funding strategies to optimize financial performance.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily cash flows to ensure optimal liquidity across geographies.
  • Forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements to support business operations.
  • Support automation initiatives such as host-to-host payments to improve efficiency.

**Foreign Exchange & Risk Management:

  • Monitor FX exposures and execute hedging strategies as per policy to minimize risk.
  • Calculate MTM valuations and prepare exposure reports to inform decision-making.
  • Work with banks on FX negotiations and derivative instruments to secure favorable terms.

**Investments & Fund Management:

  • Evaluate and recommend investment options that align with organizational objectives.
  • Assess risk-return trade-offs and ensure compliance with investment policies to protect assets.
  • Track portfolio performance, P&L, and maintain investment registers to provide transparency.

**Banking & Compliance:

  • Liaise with domestic and international banks for treasury operations to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Negotiate banking terms to reduce cost of borrowing and optimize financial resources.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal treasury policies to maintain adherence.

**Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare MIS, dashboards, and treasury reports for leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements to meet regulatory obligations.
  • Collaborate with accounting and audit teams for accuracy and compliance to ensure high-quality reporting.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of corporate treasury operations (liquidity, FX, investments) and its applications.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and treasury management systems to analyze data and drive insights.
  • Knowledge of hedging instruments, derivatives, and investment options to mitigate risk and maximize returns.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills to build relationships and achieve goals.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance is preferred but not essential.

**Qualifications:

  • MBA in Finance with a strong academic record.
  • 5+ years of relevant corporate treasury experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience limited to banking roles will not be considered due to the need for diverse perspectives.
