Visual Design Lead

We're seeking a visionary Visual Design Lead who thinks in visual storytelling, dreams in innovative design systems, and treats AI as a collaborative partner.

  • Develop and evolve the visual identity for all properties.
  • Oversee design across various channels: web, social, editorial, motion, events, spatial, OOH – nothing is off-limits.
  • Integrate creative AI: leverage Gen-AI tools for concepting, style-framing, motion pre-visualization, and rapid prototyping.
  • Elevate video & motion: collaborate with our video team to craft cinematic title cards, lower thirds, and data-driven infographics; guide AI-assisted video editing and VFX workflows.
  • Systemize excellence: create scalable design systems, asset libraries, and AI prompts that accelerate quality without compromising it.
  • Mentor & multiply: coach graphic designers, motion artists, and freelancers; instill a culture of critique and craftsmanship.
  • Collaborate at an elevated level: work closely with Editorial, Marketing, Events, and Product to ensure every touchpoint feels unmistakably cohesive.
  • Set the benchmark: ensure every output meets gold-standard expectations – visually striking, strategically relevant, and on time.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 6–10 years leading multi-disciplinary design teams in media, digital publishing, or agency environments.
  • Core Tools: Adobe CC (Ps, Ai, Id, Ae), Figma; bonus points for Blender/C4D, Unreal, or 3-D prototyping apps.
  • AI Fluency: Proven use of Gen-AI image/video tools for ideation or production; ability to write, refine, and share effective prompt libraries.
  • Visual Mastery: Expert eye for typography, color, layout, motion, data visualization, and brand systems.
  • Storytelling & Strategy: You see the narrative thread behind every pixel and can communicate the concept effectively.
