Job Title: Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Cloud Security Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture, coupled with expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing AWS services.

The Cloud Security Specialist will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization and clients.

  • Designing and implementing security controls for cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) by ensuring they are integrated into cloud platforms and adhering to relevant compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
  • Monitoring cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using tools like SIEM systems. Implementing security governance policies and maintaining audit logs for regulatory requirements.
  • Automating cloud security processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible. Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure secure deployment and configuration.
  • Collaborating with DevOps, network, and software development teams to promote secure cloud practices and training employees about cloud security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
