Software Development Specialist

This role involves designing and implementing innovative software solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality software features in line with specifications
  • Implement best practices to deliver optimal solutions for complex problems
  • Lead the development, implementation, and support of software products
  • Perform unit testing to ensure fit to design/requirements

Additionally, you will have good communication and presentation skills, providing level 3 support for issues raised in production and lower environments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent from a reputable institution
  • At least 7 years of experience in application programming
  • Extensive experience in PHP version 8.x, MySQL, and willingness to learn new technologies

Strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and design patterns is also essential. You will have an advantage if you have experience in building applications using tools like PHP Unit, Docker, Composer, and exposure to designing serverless applications in Cloud (AWS).
