Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced SCADA engineer to support design, implementation, integration, and lifecycle support for distribution automation projects.

  • Configure, test, and deploy modules (SCADA, DMS, OMS) on GE PowerOn Advantage/ADMS platform.
  • Customize business logic, alarms, telemetry points, and control actions.
  • Develop scripts to automate data processing and system operations.
  • Integrate systems with GIS, AMI, OMS, and enterprise systems.
  • Implement and support real-time operational features like FLISR, Volt/VAR Optimization, Load Forecasting, and Switching Plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve real-time issues on SCADA/DMS platforms.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and L2/L3 support to operators.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in SCADA engineering within the electric utility sector.
  • Hands-on experience with GE PowerOn (Advantage / Fusion / Control).
  • Proficiency in SCADA protocols (DNP3, IEC 101/104, Modbus).
  • Strong scripting ability in PL/SQL, Shell, Perl.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Exposure to distribution network modeling and GIS-to-ADMS mapping.
