Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Component Specialist to oversee the lifecycle, quality, and compliance of electronic components.

Main Responsibilities:

    • Assess and mitigate risks related to shortages, geopolitical issues, and logistic challenges.
    • Support multi-sourcing strategies for critical components.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (master's preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience in component engineering, hardware design, or related fields.
  • Experience in smart meter manufacturing or allied electronic manufacturing industries is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of smart meter standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in electronic supply chain, vendor qualification, and lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with PLM tools, ERP systems, and component databases.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

This role demands proactive vendor management, strong knowledge of component qualification processes, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
