Job Description:

As a Senior iOS Software Engineer at Betterbeans Consultants Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality iOS applications. Your primary focus will be on creating innovative mobile experiences that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Requirements Analysis: Analyze software requirements to determine functional and non-functional requirements of projects.
  • Solution Development: Create solutions and software architecture designs based on analyzed requirements.
  • Code Development: Write product quality code and perform developer-level verification.
  • Communication: Communicate with clarity regarding requirements and expectations of deliverables.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver products on time with high quality.
  • Risk Management: Identify possible risks and prepare contingency plans.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Prioritization: Manage priority changes and conflicts with stakeholders involved.
  • Customer Escalations: Address customer escalations and think critically to identify and solve issues in the product.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively use or suggest tools and systems to improve quality and productivity.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience: More than two years of experience in iOS application development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Objective-C or Swift and Cocoa Touch.
  • Offline Storage: Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • API Integration: Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Web Technologies: Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
  • Apple Design Principles: Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Cloud Messaging: Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Code Versioning: Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Additional Skills: Understanding of Bluetooth and BLE protocols is an added advantage.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Good understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), version control, and traceability.
  • Development Methodologies: Experience in developing software under Waterfall and Agile development methodology.
  • Tools and Technologies: Knowledgeable and well-versed with various development tools for designing, coding, debugging/troubleshooting, testing, bug tracking, collaboration, and source control.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline - Computer/Electronics.
